Detail of Bankruptcy procedure

A question on the formal procedure of the Bankruptcy procedure:

According to the Insolvency Act 1986 sec. 278(b)/279(1), the bankruptcy ends (among other things) with the discharge (which takes place automatically after one year).  In this case, is there still any final date for the termination of the proceedings or a formal termination of the proceedings or a final court decision or similar? What would that be?

Reason: Only after the official end of the proceedings can I bring the desired action for rescission under German law in Germany. Opposite side (discharged after 1 year) claims that discharge does not end the proceedings, but that there is still an official termination.
