Anybody who has a professional role within the UK legal sector can sign up for a profile on LocalSolicitors. This includes solicitors, barristers, legal executives and paralegals.

To sign up to LocalSolicitors, click here and enter your name, email address and choose a secure password. Once submitted, we will send you an email with a link for you to verify your email address. Once you have verified your email address, you will then be able to sign in to your account and start adding information to your profile page.

To make any changes to your personal profile page, please do the following:

  1. Sign in to your LocalSolicitors account.
  2. Click the Edit icon to the right of the Solicitor Profile heading.
  3. Make the relevant changes to your profile information.
  4. When you have finished making changes, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

You can view your updated profile page by clicking the View Profile link which is located below your profile photo and name.

If your profile is set to private, it cannot be viewed by visitors to the website and will not appear in the search results. While set to private, you can still answer questions on our Ask a Solicitor service and reply to any reviews that you receive.

When set to public, your profile page can be viewed by anybody using the website, and it will be listed in the search results for all relevant searches.

To make your profile public, you must first ensure your profile information includes your office address, telephone number and select at least one practice area. Once this information has been entered, you can then switch your profile from private to public by clicking the toggle switch that is displayed below your profile photo and name. You can switch between private and public at any point.
