How can they do this?

Hi Hope all is well,
I have a quick question, I have paid a non profit company up front for a student exchange to Japan for 10 months
They have unliterary terminated the program three months short to return the students due to C19
I wanted my daughter to stay in Japan for the remainder as at the time it was safer to be there
They have a clause that says if they terminate the program no money is refundable
They have transferred a cancelled return flight to me for her
However there is three months NI to pay
The flight from where she is in japan to the international airport has not been brought and we need one more months bus pass
We paid 10,000 pounds for this experience
What are our rights as they refuse to pay for these outstanding items and keep saying they do not give refunds?
