I have a house with no mortgage and wish to add a name to the deeds

I deal with inheritance claims and I am not familiar with the term "Certificate of Ownership" nor would I imagine that to make a claim would cost so much money.

My friend told me that she needs a certificate of ownership and the solicitor told her it would cost $8000 USD. Is this right?

It all depends on the wording of the covenant but, on the face of the information given, I would say that the proposed sewage treatment system would not breach it.

Would this be a breach of a restrictive covenant?
