Our bungalow is approached by shared driveway. Can my CCTV cover the shared driveway?

We are situated in the corner of a close. We share a driveway approx 10m in length. This is shared by neighbours property next door. The maintaince etc is obviously shared. My question is can my CCTV cover the shared driveway. As this would cover anyone approaching our property who shouldn't be. Thank you.
