Non payment of notice pay - what can I do?

Posted on 6 Sep 2018

I worked for a company where their contract with me states that if working up to 4 weeks either side have to give 1 weeks notice, over 4 weeks either side have to give 1 months notice, i worked for them 4 weeksand 2 days they handed me a letter giving me notice from immediate effect no reason, was not gross mis conduct but have refused to pay me any notice pay they have only paid me the week i worked prior to being given this letter, i have had acas involved but they would not pay so i have received this week a certificate from acas, i have still not received a payslip. what can i do??? when i was given the letter it stated that they would pay me 7 days notice, which i pointed out at the time was not in line with their contract with me, but they have not even paid me that.

what can i do next as I don't think they should get away with treating people like this
