How can I change the address that an electronic tag is registered to?

3rd Jun 2020

How can my brother get his tag moved to his mum's address as he is basically finishing off his sentence through a 4 month tag but he doesn't want to live at the address his tag is at and wants to go back to his mum's due to anxiety issues and mental health issues living in a strange house

To change an address that an electronic tag is registered to, you need to contact the court ,the probation and the Tagging company to get the matter listed so that the court can determine whether the new address is suitable. If you move address without informing the court, probation or the Tagging company it may be a breach of conditions and that may attrach either a breach or reversal of the bail conditions
