Am I eligible to make a claim?

I was on holiday when I slipped over and cut my leg on broken glass in our hotel room. Someone had smashed the glass door in the room. My leg was bleeding out badly. I had to get 10 stitches and had multiple cuts and was very badly bruised. I recieved medical attention and was held in care of social services for two days.
