WILL - REGARDING EQUITY RELEASE

Posted on 13 Jun 2018

My mother took out equity release on her house to give to my brother, over 9 years ago. There is no mention of this in her will. Will the amount he had, plus the compound interest to date, be taken into account when he gets his share? It is stated in a solicitors letter leading up to the set up of the equity release, that he would expect to not get as much. Would this carry any weight; I expect not? My mother is still alive.
